Based on an unfinished manuscript by legendary British novelist Ryan Barker, Reflections In The Mirror Pool is the fictitious soundtrack to the now abandoned film project of the same name. Detailing the story of an actor desperate to return to the limelight by any means necessary, who through ancient tomes and black magic enters a faustian pact with an entity who might not be all the appear to be! Rumours surround the production varying from supposed casting choices ranging from Nicholas Cage to Crispin Glover playing ‘The Actor’ to strange murmurs regarding mysterious financiers who have long since vanished without a trace. All that remains is Antoni Maiovvi’s unused score with the intent that it evoke the images for your own imagined interpretation of the work. Enjoy… well, I say enjoy…

For those of you who read this far, congratulations! This album was begun in 2016 and finished in 2020. The original was decidedly more "dungeon synth" but then in turned into this Industrial Metal behemoth which you are now listening to. The work is dark, as intended to reflect the content of the story on which this album was based on, which was suggested to me by my good friend Ryan Haysom.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who supported my releases this year, as you can imagine it's been a bit of a trying time and the income from my work has been essential. So thanks. Enjoy the TTRRIIPP...

Superb new wave / synthpop intermixed with the darkness of post-punk, coming together to resemble a lost relic from the early 1980s. The sparkling sound of the synths and guitars contrasted with the melancholy of the vocals and descriptive lyrics give this album a great duality. At moments swinging a larger rockstar swagger, and at others, deep in a pensive despair, a fair bit of emotion is laid out for display. The shreds of shoegaze that pop also give a more expansive sound in moments. Lorenzo
